Dr. Abdullah is a Specialist in Paeododontics and is also a Tutor at Sterling Dental College.
On completion of his diploma in Dentistry in 1996, Ahmed worked as a general dental practitioner for about 6 years in both hospital and practice environment.
Thereafter, Ahmed completed 2 years of training in paediatric dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute and was awarded a Masters in Dental Sciences in Paediatric Dentistry degree (2004). In addition, he completed a PhD degree in dentistry (2009) on tooth erosion.
Ahmed worked as a clinical tutor in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute between 2008 and 2010 and completed a Certificate in Education, which awarded him a membership status of the Academy of Higher Education. He also worked in Leeds accepting NHS and Private referrals in Paediatric Dentistry (2008-2013). In 2010, Ahmed joined the University of Bristol as an academic clinical lecturer to complete his training in Orthodontics.
Ahmed aims to provide treatment for children under the age of 16 who require restorative and minor surgical treatment. This involves children with dentoalveolar injuries (trauma to teeth), both permanent and primary dentition.
He takes a keen interest in treating anxious children and helping them accept dentistry as well as providing preventative care to achieve high standards of oral health.
